Burromax Is Built Different - Everything You Need To Know
. @Voltron
Introduction
I drove to St. Louis and sat down with the owner of Burromax to go through every bike in their lineup and the parts they offer. What I found is a brand that actually cares about building something right — not just sourcing the cheapest parts and slapping a logo on it. If you're in the market for an electric pit bike and you want to know which Burromax is built for you, this is your guide.

Who Is Burromax?
Burromax is an American electric mini bike brand based out of St. Charles, Missouri. They design and engineer their own frames, motors, and upgrade components — not just reselling generic Chinese hardware. Everything is built to be upgraded, and they stock their own parts so you're not hunting down third-party replacements when something needs to be swapped.
They've carved out a lane between the toy-grade stuff you find at big box stores and full-size electric motorcycles. The result is a lineup that punches well above its price point, especially at the top end.
The Lineup: Which Burromax Is Right For You?
Burromax makes four bikes worth knowing. Two are beginner-to-intermediate machines built for fun — the TT1000R and TT1600R. Two are competition-grade machines built for people who want to go fast and aren't messing around — the XRB Dirt Tracker and XRA Drag Bike. Here's how they break down.
TT1000R — The Entry Point

Price: $1,495
The TT1000R is where most people start with Burromax, and it's a solid machine for the money. It's not a toy — this is a real pit bike with full suspension, mechanical disc brakes, and a 1,000W brushless motor that'll hit 30+ MPH on flat ground. Four ride modes let you dial in the power, and the 48V 17.4Ah lithium battery gets you up to 20 miles per charge.

TT1600R — The Step-Up

Price: $1,995
The TT1600R is the natural next step. More power, bigger battery, hydraulic brakes, and 0–25 MPH in 2.7 seconds. The 1,600W rated motor (3,300W peak) hits 38 MPH in Mode 3, and the 52V 23.4Ah battery gives you 30 miles of range at 25 MPH. If the TT1000R is a confident beginner bike, the TT1600R is a machine you can actually grow into.

XRB — The Dirt Tracker

Price: $3,450
This is where things get serious. The XRB is a competition-grade dirt tracker built on an all-aluminum TIG-welded frame with a 6kW rated (10.5kW peak) motor that launches 0–30 MPH in 1.6 seconds and tops out at 58 MPH. It runs 90/90-10 track tires, hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors, and a 3-way adjustable rear shock. The 72V 20Ah battery charges in 2.5 hours with the included 10-amp fast charger.

XRA — The Drag Bike

Price: $3,495
The XRA is the drag-spec version of the competition lineup. Same 6kW rated / 10.5kW peak motor and 72V 20Ah battery as the XRB, but built for straight-line speed — top speed of 62 MPH and 0–30 MPH in 1.6 seconds. The aluminum frame runs Super Moto pavement tires (3.5” x 10”), a 21” swing arm extended 120mm, and a wheelie bar drag race kit is available as a bolt-on. It also comes with a 10-amp fast charger.

What Makes Burromax Different
A lot of brands in this space are selling you a bike. Burromax is selling you a platform. Every bike in the lineup is built to be upgraded — stronger motors, extended swing arms, performance shocks — and they stock the parts themselves. You're not hunting down some random overseas supplier six months after you buy.
The other thing worth noting: I went to their warehouse. It's a real operation. These aren't people dropshipping someone else's product. They're hands-on with their bikes, they know their specs cold, and they're invested in the product. That matters when you're spending $1,500 to $3,500 on a machine you actually plan to ride.
The Bottom Line
If you're just getting into electric pit bikes, start with the TT1000R — it's capable, affordable, and forgiving. If you've already been riding and want more, the TT1600R is the move. And if you're chasing speed and ready to compete, the XRA and XRB are purpose-built machines that can back it up.
Burromax earns the price. After spending a day at their facility and going through the lineup hands-on, I came away more impressed than I expected. These bikes are built different — and now you know why.
